Chinese Lessons

Every Thursday we have Chinese Lessons for 30 minutes in the afternoon.
We have learnt to say hello and goodbye (Ni hao and zap juan).
We have learnt to introduce ourselves - wo jiao Louis.
We have learnt about the Great Wall of China, Terracotta Warriors and the chines culture.
We have learnt to say thank you - Xie die
We have learnt to say how are you - ni hao ma?

We are now learning to count in Chinese - 1-yi, 2-er, 3-san, 4-si, 5-wu.
We are also learning more about the culture.

It is good to learn other languages.
We play games to help us learn the language and remember all the new things.

 Te Reo Maori

We are learning to speak basic Te Reo Maori. 

We have learned mama - mum

Papa- Dad

matamua- eldest child

potiki - youngest child

huatahi - only child

Ko au - me

Tena koe - hello to one

Tena korua - hello to two
