Anahera is learning to write descriptions. This is the first one she has completed. Well done Anahera. I really like how you have told your audience about what your Dad looks like, what he is good at and what you like most about your Dad.
Term Three Week One
What a super busy week we have had! We have two new students in our class this week, Taylor and Jennifer. They have both settled in wonderfully and the class is buzzing with excitement and energy.
The week started with a visit from our Olympic Ambassador Shea McAleese. He spoke about the importance of having goals and Never Giving Up. The children were inspired by his messages which fit in really well with our focus of perseverance.
On Wednesday our class participated in a colour mixing workshop with Koka Jen from the Tairawhiti Museum. The children used koru, patiki and niho taniwha to decorate their kete. The children were intrigued by Koka Jen's stories and loved their artwork too! Photos to follow!
